The Match Begins…..

From the starting of the match, Holm seemed to be a superior striker. In round one, she didn’t give a single chance to Rondy to come to the match. On the other hand, Rousey seemed to be defending her self every time.

During the match, Rousey showed some punches and kicks to holm but end up with no aim. On the other hand, holm charged some superb shots to Rousey whenever she got a chance.

At the end of round one, the picture was very clear that Holm has a greater chance to win the match. Rousey on the other hand after round one looked tired and injured as blood coming out from her mouth.

As the round two begins, Holm came back charged with double energy. At the end of the match, Rousey got annoyed with the kicks and strategic moves of Holm and started to attack her without any strategy. Holm took the whole advantage of it and attacked her with greater force. Finally, Holm kicked Rousey to the neck to knock her down. Then she pounced on her and gave lots of punches. As a result, Rousey gave up the match.

And The Champion, Defeated

Her defeat completely shattered her. she didn’t accept her loss for some time. It is obvious how one can, especially a player who lost her title after three years.

After losing against holm she did several interviews and mentioned her loss in that. She told in an interview that she felt like to suicide and kill herself for the loss she suffered.

In a given interview to Ellen DeGeneres show, Rousey revealed her feelings :

Honestly, my thought I was like, in the medical room and I was down in the corner,” an emotional Rousey told DeGeneres. “I was sitting in the corner [thinking[ like, ‘What am I anymore if I’m not this?’ And I was literally sitting there and thinking about killing myself and that exact second, I’m [thinking] ‘I’m nothing … what do I do anymore and no one gives a shit about me anymore without this.
