Roman Reigns family, a legacy of wrestlers. From his father Sika Anoaʻi to the young generation wrestlers Jey and Jimmy Uso, all have gained their name in wrestling.

I don’t think so there would be any family loaded with such a great number of wrestlers. Anoaʻi family has always carried the legacy of wrestling from generation to generation.

Below is the family tree of Anoaʻi family where it can be seen that the two family members who started it are  Tovale Anoa’i and Peter Maivia. They are blood brothers.

Sika Anoaʻi, father of Roman Reigns is son to Tovale Anoa’i and Amituana Anoa’i. Sika Anoaʻi, better known by his ring name Sika Samoa was a great professional wrestler and has performed in Georgia Championship Wrestling, Mid-South Wrestling, New Japan Pro-Wrestling, and World Wrestling Federation.

Whereas Peter Maivia, blood brother of Tovale Anoa’i married Leah Maivia and gave birth to two children Toa and Ata. Ata Mavia married Rocky Johnson, who is a well-known wrestler of his time.

Dwayne Johnson, who is known by his ring name ‘The Rock’ is son to Ata Mavia and Rocky Johnson.

Tovale Anoa’i and Peter Maivia. They are blood brothers.

It is said that The Rock and Roman Reigns are cousins but the truth is they are not directly connected. Instead, we can call them ‘Distant Brothers’.

So in this article, we will draw your attention to the cousins of Roman Reigns.

Matthew Anoaʻi

The elder brother of Roman Reigns, Matthew aka Rosey, is another Samoan wrestler from Anoaʻi family. Born on the 7th of April, 1970 in San Francisco, California(US), Matthew perceived his wrestling training from his uncle Afa Anoaʻi’s Wild Samoan Training Facility.
